Madid is founded by Hylke Hellinga. He has more than 16 years of experience in infrastructure strategy, planning and development of major projects in sports and entertainment, arts and culture, education, mixed-use, commercial and government sectors in Australia, New Zealand and The Netherlands.

As former partner at draaijer+partners and  Divisional Manager Venues & Facilities at Gemba Hylke has more than 10 years senior leadership experience in businesses and complex projects

He has led business innovation across premier stadiums and sports venues, museums and cultural buildings, schools and university campuses and mixed-use master plans with a preference for redevelopment projects.

Hylke specialises in achieving strategic alignment among key stakeholders and creating strategies, concepts and sustainable economic solutions for venues and precincts

His cross-sector approach incorporates elements of heritage, innovation, improved fan and visitor experience, liveability, increased community access and utilisation, and sustainable and circular solutions.
